Southeast Asia’s aviation industry is recovering rapidly, with Indonesia Airlines preparing to launch in 2025 as part of the region’s strengthened air travel networks. The new premium international carrier aims to connect 48 global destinations across 30 countries, capitalizing on the growing demand for international travel in the region.
Developed by Singapore-based Calypte Holding, Indonesia Airlines is expected to operate with a fleet of 20 modern aircraft, with a focus on international routes. The airline will be headquartered at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Jakarta (CGK), as Indonesia’s international air travel capacity is forecasted to increase by over 6% in the summer 2025 season.
