Tourism New Zealand has introduced a revamped program designed for travel sellers, offering bite-sized (3-7 minute) modules that can be easily completed on any device. The program covers key information about Aotearoa New Zealand’s off-peak seasons, including transportation options, recommended itineraries, current trends, and product offerings.
The initiative supports Tourism New Zealand’s four-year strategy, which aims to increase arrivals during off-peak months (March to November) and encourage year-round tourism.
Andrew Waddel, Tourism New Zealand’s general manager for Australia, emphasized the vital role Australian travel sellers play in driving Australian travelers to New Zealand. “They are a trusted booking channel, offering significant value to clients by saving time, tailoring trips to specific needs, and uncovering hidden gems.”
The updated program is designed to equip travel sellers with expert knowledge, helping them add value to the itineraries they create for clients traveling to New Zealand.
