To celebrate the start of Autumn, Qantas has launched a seasonal menu across all international cabins, including its First and Business Lounges, marking a significant expansion of its international Economy meal service.
As part of a multi-million-dollar investment in enhancing customer experience, international Economy passengers will now enjoy additional sides such as Australian cheese and crackers, a fresh garden salad, or a generous dessert to complement their main meal. The airline has redesigned the meal tray, increasing its size by 30% to accommodate these additions.
Chef Neil Perry, Qantas’ long-time Creative Director of Food, Beverage, and Service, has curated the new autumn menu. Premium cabins and lounges will feature hearty, seasonal dishes including Chermoula crusted Margra lamb cutlets, red wine braised Wollemi duck, seared Humpty Doo barramundi, and a Salted caramel macadamia tart.
In the First Lounges, a new Autumn cocktail, “The Continental,” made with Croissant Gin by Lune and Four Pillars, will be available. Additionally, two seasonally inspired cocktails, the Rhubarb Spritz and the Plum On Sour, are now part of the offerings.
As part of this refresh, Qantas has introduced 45 new cocktails, including 15 non-alcoholic options based on customer feedback, available onboard and in lounges globally starting in March. The Qantas Avro Gin spritz remains available in international Economy and Premium Economy cabins, continuing to elevate the in-flight experience.
