Travelers can look forward to more affordable options for visiting New Orleans starting this summer, as Breeze Airways announces a new non-stop route from Tampa International Airport (TPA) to Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY).
Flights between the two cities will begin on June 1 and will run four days a week—on Sundays, Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays. This will mark Breeze Airways’ 12th non-stop route out of New Orleans. The airline, founded by David Neeleman, the founder of JetBlue, currently operates 275 routes to 70 cities across 31 states.
This route announcement follows Breeze’s introduction of two new routes to Key West just the week before.
New Orleans, famous for its rich cuisine, colorful streets, lively jazz and R&B music scene, and iconic architecture, offers a range of accommodations from luxurious hotels to boutique options such as the readers’ favorite Maison de la Luz.
On the other side, Tampa boasts pristine white sand beaches, the Florida Aquarium, Busch Gardens amusement park, an exciting nightlife, and expanding hotel options, including the luxury boutique The Edition Tampa.
